Transcript
My husband was a keen swimmer, and he did the long swim from Battery Point to Sugar Loaf forty-seven times. It is about a mile and a quarter I think, and he won it once. That was quite something and my daughter she was also a quite a keen swimmer and her son and both of them did it with him one year, which was nice and he had, I think my husband had salt water in his veins instead of blood because he was always happiest either on or in the water and my two children followed suit they are both keen dinghy sailors and my husband was a founder member of Portishead Sailing Club and founder member of the Portishead Lifeboat Trust.
