Summary

it caused quite a serious fire and a lot of pollution, which people were worried about. All the phones were buzzing, I couldn't get hold of the police or ambulance. I eventually got through to the Medical Officer of Health, who was in his bath and quickly had to "turn to" and come and deal with the situation. After that all that ground had to be decontaminated. before the Village Quarter could be built
